A phonics activity for KS1 or SEN pupils. Here are 5 worksheets where children use the picture cues to sound out and write the words. The words are of 3 and 4 letters. There are also 3 blank template sheets for you, or the children, to make more of their own.

10 worksheets for children to use when improving their pencil control and fine motor skills. Lines are horizontal and vertical. There are star and L shapes included.

A set of alphabet cards for children learning to recognize capital letters and write them. Useful for improving fine motor control and handwriting. Each card has dotted lines for joining and then the children can colour or trace inside the letters. The picture prompts will help children to identify the initial sounds. Cut out the cards and laminate and these are great in the writing corner/on the writing table with dry markers.

A resource to encourage children to think about places they could /do visit and talk about them. The cards could be cut out and added to a child’s communication board. Sheet 1 shows 16 places children could visit with words along the side and added above the pictures. Children could colour in the pictures. Sheet 2 shows the same resource but without pictures. Cut and laminate the cards for stand alone speaking and listening activities.
